FAQ's
What are music lessons?
Music Lessons are where a person whether a child or adult comes into a studio and learns more about techniques, music theory, songs, rhythm, performing, etc. You will get a one on one half our lesson each week. (Hour lessons are available)
What is included?
A weekly half hour lesson learning songs of your choice. All outside performances are included. One on one lessons with your teacher so you can go as fast or slow as you like. Guitar chord sheets and some music tracks.
Are there any extras to pay for?
Piano Music books, picks, capo, recitals, drum sticks, - things with regard to your instrument.
Should I bring anything?
Your instrument (we do have some for rent), song ideas, yourself.
When do I pay and is there a contract?
You will pay at the beginning of the month for the month. If you start mid month you will only pay a prorated amount. First lesson is free. No contracts.
How can I get involved in performing?
First thing is to attend lessons. You and your teacher will come up with a plan about going out to perform. Make sure you ask, so your teacher can best suit your needs.
What if I am terrified to perform but I want to?
Practice makes perfect! Fears are nothing to live by. However we will not rush you either.
How old can someone start lessons?
How young is too young? We always say it depends on the child. Some five year olds come in ready and willing to learn, some are not ready. Only after meeting with a child can the teacher let you know. We do not want the child to lose their interest in music or become afraid of lessons.
Do you have any discounts?
We do have a multi family discount. You will get $10 off every extra child that takes lessons. So if there are 2 kids taking lessons for $100 each then you will pay $190.
Do I have to perform?
No
